It's never too late, and you're not behind

Maybe you're like me and you haven't quite gotten around to setting goals for the new year yet. Maybe this is making you realize the date and you're not sure where the time went. Or maybe you set some goals originally, but life has already gotten in the way...

We sure do have a way of being hard on ourselves, and I'm writing today to help you take the pressure off.

You didn't mess it up.

You're not too late.

Any moment can be the one that you decide to move forward.

These times feel heavy and hard... I know I'm not alone with that weary feeling. But this week I was reminded of a lesson I wanted to share.

A woman called me for some advice and to thank me for something I had shared previously that stayed with her.

You can always course correct.

You are not stuck.

If what you're doing now isn't working, you can make changes.

And those changes will either be right, or you will learn something.

You can change course as much as you want.

It is your life.

I needed that reminder myself. I don't have to let life feel so heavy. I don't need to stay stuck in patterns that aren't working. I can come up for air...really breathe... ask myself what I need... and then move forward.

And so can you.

Let's do it together, shall we?

We don't need to compare to what others are doing or look at their timelines. We don't have to tackle it all at once. Let's just pick one thing. One, doable thing that we can focus on this week.

Whether it's something for your mental well being, physical health, career, relationships, the environment--that's up to you.

Our lives are what we make of them. Let's build something beautiful.

I'm always happy to be there for accountability or to answer questions.

A little over to months ago, I signed out of my social media apps and deleted them from my phone... here's what happened: My screen time cut in half I felt less distracted/more present with my family
